3 miles (almost)

so i decided to make last week my "off season." i did a little bit of cross training and lifting but no running.
of course now that i've started a new training schedule, i think i'm sick. i thought it was allergies, but after feeling like i was going to puke the entire time i was running today, i think the germs have invaded my body.
so what's the new training schedule for, you ask? in my post-shamrock-shuffle euphoria, i made the decision to make my next race longer - 10 miles. the soldier field 10 (may 27) sounded like a lot of fun, what with the finish across the field and the jumbotron. i just hope i haven't gotten myself in over my head. so here goes with the goal...
to finish.
if i accomplish that, i guess the secondary goal would be to do it under 1:40.
