accidentally did a fartlek workout. i started out pretty slowly for the first 5 minutes, i would say. then the next thing i knew, i was breathing pretty heavily. i slowed down and then a few minutes later found myself running faster again. i have no idea why i do this to myself. now should be the time to just build up my endurance. i guess i still just can't come to terms with how out of shape i am. gotta work on slowing down before i hurt myself...again.
lifted legs (press, quad extension, hamstring extension, squats) and abs (100 crunches - variety on incline bench and captain's chair).
tomorrow: rest day
